Easy to use, this 40" mat cutting system includes a parellel Mat Guide, Squaring Bar, with both straight and bevel cutting heads. The model 450 Intermediate is a best buy for those seeking an economical yet full featured mat cutter. The Intermediate also gives you the option to add additional mat cutting accessories such as a Glass Cutter and Surface V-Groover making it an all purpose complete 40" mat cutting system.
The model #450 replaces the #401-Now with free prodution stops. The Cutting Board Features:
Sturdy 3/4" thick vinyl covered fiberboard base with a 40 1/2" cutting capacity.
Parallel Mat Guide for setting border widths up to 4 1/4".
Aluminum Guide Rail which allows cutting heads to "hook" onto.
Pre-set 90 degree Squaring Bar to hold mats square and prevent from slipping.
The Straight Cutting Head Features:
Three blade settings: safety, matboard and foamboard.
Larger, ergonomically designed handle for comfort.
Start and Stop Indicator to cut straight edge openings in mats.
